I woke up to a frozen morning. The soil is covered with soft snow. everything else, poles, houses, trees is white with ice. Looking at the fields hurt my eyes. Despite the early hour and the cloudy sky, blue light radiates from the ground. I can hardly tell ground from sky. A lone tree is all I can see, and I know that the sky has not yet reached over there. Or so I tell myself.
